Please note:
The lngenium Centre has been designed with accessibility in mind, including gender-inclusive accessible washrooms and elevator access.
Group size is limited to 18 people for safety purposes.
This is an accessible, 75-minute walking tour through the multi-level lngenium Center building, located next to the Canada Science and Technology Museum. Please wear comfortable footwear to make your tour as enjoyable as possible.
Wheelchairs are available for free at the admission desk at the Canada Science and Technology Museum on a first-come, first served basis.
Tickets can be purchased at the admission desk on a first come, first-served basis prior to the start of a tour.
Bags are not permitted inside the collection areas. You may leave bags in a locker ($) at the Canada Science and Technology Museum, or in a bag drop area available inside the Ingenium Centre. Ingenium is not responsible for any lost items.
Coat racks will also be available inside the Ingenium Centre lobby.
The tour departs promptly at the scheduled start time. Please meet in the lobby of the Canada Science and Technology Museum 15 minutes prior to your tour time and allow for time to find and pay for parking. Please consult the Code of Conduct prior to your tour. No-shows and late arrivals are non-refundable. Cancellations may be made up to 48 hours before the start time of the tour.
Please do not bring food or drink into the collection space.
Photography and Videos
The use of cameras is permitted providing the flash is turned off. Filming our staff is not permitted.
Sensitive content
It is important to be mindful that we have a collection of objects that can affect us in different ways. If you feel uncomfortable or need to take a break during your tour, please let your Guide know.
Support persons
Free admission will be provided to one support person accompanying a person with disabilities. Please mention that you will be accompanied by a support person when reserving your ticket online. They will not require a ticket.
Service animals
Service animals, such as guide dogs and hearing dogs, are welcome in the lngenium Centre.
Washrooms
Before your tour, washrooms can be found in the lobby of the Canada Science and Technology Museum, as well as a separate gender-neutral/universal washroom, equipped with an adult-sized change table and a motorized lift, located across from the cafeteria. During your tour, washrooms (including gender neutral washrooms) are available as needed.
